January 20th is coming. Much like the Seven Kingdoms threat of winter and the dangers it brings, I am worried about the uncertainty that this inauguration and presidency promises.
Emotionally slammed the day after the election, the only thing that made me feel any sort of comfort was the creation of a “Happy Music” playlist. I have had to revisit this playlist many times since November 8th, but as the inevitability of Friday approaches, it has become ever more vital to my existence. As I actively plan my assault on Friday (La La Land) and Saturday (The Women’s March), I will do my best to stay away from the news (fake and real) and continue to add songs to this list.
