I have always been a positive person…a “glass half full” kind of gal. But that optimism tends to lend itself to high expectations. And that of course leads to disappointment. But no matter how many times I am let down, I am right back at it again, imaging how the next thing will work out.
So imagine my delight when the house show we hosted for Beta Radio surpassed my wildest dreams. Everything went according to plan. From the venue to the band, the night was magical and I was so excited to share it with my friends and family.
I am hopeful this will be the first of many house shows we host. They are a great way for a band to get exposure in a city where it can be risky or expensive to book a traditional venue.
