Ranging in ages from 16-24, this indie band of seven siblings (yep, 7) produces a tight folk sound with rich harmonies and acoustic instruments. I’ve never met a mandolin I didn’t like and “Make This Leap” off their new album The Younger Days is a head bobbing, toe tapping, sweet song for summer. The video is perhaps a tribute to the warmer days of the Chesapeake area of Virginia where they are from and it makes those of us who grew up in the city wish they could experience the gentleness of country living.
Their first full length album is out June 9 with Cherrytree records.
